Building the Retail System Behind LSKD's Growth

Greater Group has worked with LSKD across Australia and New Zealand to develop and deliver a new generation of physical retail. The relationship began with defining a clearer retail direction for the brand and has grown into an end-to-end programme spanning store design, documentation, procurement, joinery manufacture, project management and build across both markets.

Rather than developing each location independently, Greater Group helped turn the new direction into a repeatable retail system. The first New Zealand stores established the fixture family, planning principles and documentation needed for rollout, while subsequent projects tested how that system could respond to different footprints, customer markets and site conditions. When the programme expanded into Australia, the production model evolved with it, with joinery re-engineered around local materials, fabrication and supply.

The result is a trans-Tasman retail programme built around a common foundation but not a fixed template. Flagships, standard stores, community-led formats and more complex tenancies can each respond to their location while drawing from the same underlying design and delivery system.
