A New Way to Experience Porsche in Singapore

Greater Group designed and built Porsche NOW, a temporary pop-up store at Guoco Tower, Tanjong Pagar, Singapore. Serving as an interim retail location ahead of Porsche’s permanent Porsche Studio Singapore, was the pop-up was designed to engage new target groups with an inviting, digitally integrated, and brand-immersive experience.

01 Project Brief

Presence Before the Permanent Store

Porsche required a temporary retail presence in Singapore ahead of the launch of its permanent Porsche Studio. A pop-up that precedes a flagship has a job the flagship cannot do for itself, which is to begin the conversation while the permanent space is still being built, and to do it without reading as a placeholder for something better.

The brief called for intimate brand interaction rather than volume, which sets up the tension. The space had to feel like an occasion for a marque whose customers expect to be hosted, while being temporary, and while not spending the flagship’s own impact before the flagship arrives.

02 Our Approach

A Room Built for Hosting

Greater Group designed and built the pop-up as a hosting environment rather than a display, planning it for small numbers and close attention: a visitor received rather than processed, and a vehicle presented in a setting that gives it room instead of a floor filled to capacity.

The temporary format was used rather than apologised for. A chic industrial character suits a short-life space in a way it might not suit a permanent studio, so the constraint became the aesthetic, and the pop-up reads as a distinct moment in the brand’s arrival rather than as a reduced version of what follows.

03 Project Outcome

The Market Warmed, Not Spent

The completed pop-up demonstrates how a temporary space can carry a premium marque credibly, holding presence and starting relationships in the period a brand would otherwise be absent from the market.

For a launch sequence that is the useful outcome. The permanent studio opens into a market that has already met the brand in person, which is a materially different launch from one that opens cold.
