Chen’s
Greater Group delivered two Chen’s restaurant interiors in Singapore, evolving a warm, modern concept from OUE Downtown Gallery to a more premium Paragon, Orchard destination. Japanese and Chinese cues are balanced across both sites, while seating flexibility and operational flow are improved through planning and refined detailing.
Consistent Experience Across Singapore
Chen’s required a consistent restaurant brand experience across two Singapore locations. OUE Downtown Gallery needed a bright, refined update within 990 sq ft, with flexible seating, improved sightlines, a side station, and a defined delivery pick-up area, while retaining the existing kitchen layout. Paragon Orchard required a premium benchmark that builds on the Downtown foundation with a more intimate, upscale guest experience and seamless flow.
Planned for Ease And Lift
Clear zones for tasting, service, and dining were planned to protect circulation and bar efficiency within a compact footprint. Materials and furniture were specified for durability and ease of maintenance in a high-traffic environment. Documentation, design management, and procurement were managed to maintain control over detailing, cost, and brand alignment across the programme.
Clearer Flow for Stronger Presence
A cohesive Chen’s identity is delivered across CBD and Orchard. At Downtown, seating capacity and day-to-day operations are improved without expanding the footprint. At Paragon, a more premium and intimate interpretation is delivered for a flagship mall context, with refined cultural references that avoid a themed feel. Together, both restaurant fit-outs strengthen brand clarity, guest comfort, and service performance.
