TeamViewer’s technology is built around connecting people and enabling them to work remotely. Its Singapore office needed to support the other side of that proposition by creating an environment where being physically together added value.

The brief called for a workplace that could accommodate focused individual work and formal meetings while placing greater emphasis on collaboration, interaction and company culture. Rather than simply providing desks for a digitally enabled workforce, the office needed to give people different reasons to use the workplace and different ways to connect when they were there.

Greater Group organised the workplace around a large, flexible communal area, making shared experience a central part of the plan rather than treating breakout space as secondary to the workstation floor.

The space supports informal interaction and collaboration day to day, but can also transition for town halls, conferences and larger company events. This flexibility allows the same footprint to perform several functions without creating separate spaces that sit underused for much of the week. Focused workstations and meeting settings sit around this shared core, balancing individual productivity with opportunities to come together.

TeamViewer’s brand identity is integrated through colour and detailing, while the planning takes advantage of the office’s expansive views across Singapore to create an open, connected environment.

The completed workplace gives TeamViewer a Singapore office where shared space carries as much importance as individual workspace. Focused work, meetings, informal collaboration and company-wide gatherings can all happen within the same environment, allowing the office to adapt to how the team uses it throughout the day.

More importantly, the workplace gives physical expression to a company built around connection. TeamViewer’s technology makes it possible for people to work together from anywhere; its Singapore office creates a place where coming together in person offers something different: collaboration, shared experience and a stronger connection to the team and brand.
