Bringing Chopard’s Luxury Craftsmanship Into the Workplace
Greater Group delivered a 464.5 sqm workplace befitting Chopard’s status as a Grand Luxury Maison. Located at The Gateway in Tsim Sha Tsui and Hung Hom, the fit-out blends Swiss heritage with contemporary Asian influences, integrating refined natural materials and flexible planning to promote wellbeing, support modern workstyles and express the brand within a sophisticated corporate setting.
Luxury Beyond the Boutique
For Chopard, craftsmanship and attention to detail are fundamental to how the brand is experienced. Its Hong Kong workplace needed to carry that same level of consideration into a very different environment, creating a sophisticated setting for employees, clients and partners without simply reproducing the language of a luxury boutique.
The brief also placed sustainability and wellbeing at the centre of the workplace. The challenge was to bring these priorities together with Chopard’s Swiss heritage, creating an environment that felt refined and enduring while remaining practical and flexible enough for everyday work.
Translate Craftsmanship Into the Workplace
Greater Group drew on the principles behind Chopard’s brand rather than applying its retail identity directly. Refined natural materials, considered detailing and a restrained palette establish the sense of quality, while contemporary Asian influences respond to the workplace’s Hong Kong context.
Flexible planning supports different ways of working, while natural materials and biophilic elements create a warmer environment for employees. Sustainability was considered through the same lens as craftsmanship, prioritising materials and design decisions intended for longevity rather than treating it as a separate layer of the project.
Luxury Expressed Differently
The completed 465 sqm workplace extends Chopard’s brand beyond the spaces its customers typically experience. Rather than recreating a boutique inside an office, it translates the Maison’s values into the things that matter in a workplace: material quality, considered detail, comfort and longevity.
The result is a corporate environment that feels appropriate to a Grand Luxury Maison while remaining designed for the people who use it every day, bringing Chopard’s approach to craftsmanship into the workplace in a quieter, more functional form.
