One Concept Across Multiple Markets
Six Markets, Six Sets of Rules
Pandora required its latest retail concept to be consistently delivered across Asia despite vastly different market conditions. Each project was subject to unique landlord requirements, approval processes, local regulations and construction practices, while many locations were department store concessions with existing ceilings, lighting, services and spatial constraints. The challenge was to preserve a consistent global brand experience while adapting the concept to suit the operational realities of each market, without compromising design quality or retail performance.
A Regional Design Management Framework
Greater Group established a regional design management framework that enabled Pandora’s retail concept to be consistently adapted and implemented across multiple markets. Every project began with detailed site investigations and landlord reviews before progressing through design development, technical documentation and implementation packages, ensuring each store responded to its local environment while remaining aligned with Pandora’s global standards.
A standardised documentation methodology, fixture library and technical specification created a repeatable delivery system, allowing local consultants and contractors to execute the concept with confidence while maintaining consistency across every market.
Delivering Consistency at Regional Scale
Using this approach, Greater Group successfully delivered Pandora’s retail concept across Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Mainland China, spanning both standalone stores and department store concessions. The programme established a scalable delivery model that enabled Pandora to expand across Asia with consistency, providing a single framework capable of responding to diverse market conditions while preserving the integrity of the global retail experience.
