01 Project Brief

Deliver the Experience as Designed

The Great Room’s Hong Kong location was conceived as a premium workplace built around hospitality rather than conventional office planning. The design combined workspaces, lounges, meeting rooms and shared amenity within a highly detailed environment where the quality of finishes, furniture and lighting was central to the member experience.

Greater Group’s role was to take that established design and carry it accurately through procurement and construction. The challenge was not to reinterpret the concept, but to protect its quality through a complex delivery process involving specialist finishes, custom elements and multiple suppliers.

02 Our Approach

Precision Through Procurement and Build

Greater Group coordinated procurement, construction and installation with close attention to the interfaces between furniture, joinery, lighting, architectural finishes and building services. In a hospitality-led workplace, these details are highly visible, so consistency in material quality and installation became critical to the overall result.

The team worked across local and specialist suppliers to ensure the specified environment could be delivered accurately on site, resolving buildability and coordination issues as the project progressed without compromising the design intent.

03 Project Outcome

A Workplace That Feels More Like Hospitality

The completed Hong Kong location delivers The Great Room’s premium workplace experience through a high level of finish and detail. Work areas, lounges and shared spaces come together as one cohesive environment, with the material and lighting quality helping shift the experience away from a conventional office.

For Greater Group, the project demonstrated the ability to deliver an established premium concept with the level of control normally associated with high-end hospitality interiors.
