Delivering the SILK Standard at Karrinyup
Delivering an Established Clinic Standard
Karrinyup formed part of SILK Laser Clinics’ national rollout, with Greater Group responsible for design, procurement and build. By this stage of the programme, the clinic format had an established set of planning, joinery, material and lighting standards. The focus at Karrinyup was on carrying those standards through the realities of a new tenancy and delivering the clinic consistently.
The site still required its own resolution. Treatment rooms brought specific requirements for privacy, equipment, power, servicing and compliant finishes, while the customer-facing areas needed to maintain SILK’s established retail experience within a major shopping centre.
Carry the Standard Through Delivery
Greater Group managed Karrinyup from design through procurement and build, configuring the established clinic system around the tenancy and coordinating the elements required to deliver it. Standardised joinery, finishes and lighting provided a known foundation, while the planning was resolved around the individual site and its technical requirements.
The value of the wider rollout sits in the knowledge accumulated across completed clinics. Proven details, specifications and delivery solutions can move directly into the next project, reducing the need to resolve the same issues from scratch and giving procurement and construction teams a clearly defined standard to work from.
Consistency Through End-to-End Delivery
Karrinyup demonstrates the delivery model behind SILK’s national programme. An established design, coordinated procurement and managed build brought the clinic together as one complete scope, maintaining the planning, material and customer experience standards developed across the network.
That end-to-end approach has supported the delivery of more than 60 SILK clinics across Australia, with each completed location adding to a growing body of specifications and project knowledge that can be carried into the next.
