Adapting SharkNinja’s Retail Identity for Temporary Retail
Maximum Impact, Minimum Build
For Jakarta Fair, SharkNinja needed the presence of its established retail environment within a fundamentally temporary format. Unlike a permanent store-in-store, the stand had to be installed and dismantled within tight event windows, operate for a limited period and justify a very different level of investment.
The challenge was to retain the strength and recognisability of the SharkNinja identity while reducing the material specification, construction complexity and cost to suit a temporary build.
Value-Engineer for Speed and Reuse
Greater Group adapted SharkNinja’s existing kit of parts specifically for temporary delivery. Material specifications were simplified, construction methods rationalised and components designed around fast assembly, removing unnecessary cost and complexity without compromising the elements that make the brand recognisable.
The layout was also designed around live product demonstration, with open circulation, clear sightlines and space for customers to gather. Every decision balanced brand impact, build cost and installation speed, creating a format appropriate to the economics and programme of an event.
Brand Impact Without the Permanent Build
Jakarta Fair demonstrated that SharkNinja’s retail identity could be translated into a lighter, faster and more cost-efficient temporary format without losing its presence.
The result is a value-engineered system designed for the realities of temporary retail: quick to install, efficient to dismantle and commercially appropriate for a short-term activation, while remaining unmistakably SharkNinja.
