A Playbook for Nike Kids in Foot Locker
A Kids’ Offer Scalable by Design
Nike required a consistent Nike Kids retail proposition for implementation across Foot Locker stores throughout Asia Pacific. The challenge was to create a scalable visual merchandising solution that could accommodate varying store footprints, existing fixture systems, local manufacturing capabilities and market-specific fit-out standards. Working within Foot Locker’s existing fixture framework, the brief called for a display system that would create a more engaging retail experience for kids while remaining commercially viable for large-scale rollout. The solution needed to be centrally specified, locally produced and easily replicated across multiple markets without compromising the Nike Kids brand experience.
Pilot, Playbook, Rollout
Greater Group developed a scalable store-in-store solution for Foot Locker’s multi-brand retail environment, creating a flexible shop-in-shop design system structured around life-stage zoning, modular fixture enhancements and clear Nike Kids brand storytelling. Engaging display elements encouraged discovery and interaction, while the enhanced fixture system balanced product presentation, flexibility, durability and cost-efficiency for regional rollout. The solution was supported by an implementation playbook, enabling consistent specification, local manufacture and deployment across multiple markets.
Scaling the Nike Kids Experience
The programme was successfully piloted in Indonesia and the Philippines, validating the design against local manufacturing, installation and operational requirements before regional rollout. The result is a modular, value-engineered retail framework built as a flexible kit of parts, enabling seamless adaptation across markets without recreating concepts from scratch. Balancing operational efficiency with engaging, child-friendly retail experiences, the system simplified local implementation and provided Nike with a scalable platform for future expansion across Asia Pacific.
