01 Project Brief

Applying an Established Store Standard

By the time Miranda entered design, Seafolly’s retail concept had been built, reviewed and refined across several locations. The merchandising platform had been standardised, key fixture and fitting-room details were established, and the lessons captured through the earlier stores had become part of the programme’s design framework.

For the 161 square metre Miranda tenancy, Greater Group could begin with this accumulated knowledge already embedded into the concept. The focus shifted to applying the established store system to the site, resolving its specific layout, customer journey and tenancy requirements efficiently.

02 Our Approach

From Concept to Sign-Off in Five Weeks

Greater Group took Miranda from its initial concept presentation through three rounds of client review to final sign-off within five weeks. The established Seafolly standards provided a clear starting point across merchandising, joinery, materials and customer-facing details, allowing the design process to remain focused on the requirements of the Miranda tenancy.

The project was developed from test fit through full construction documentation, detailed joinery and FF&E scheduling, supported by photorealistic renders for client review. Greater Group also coordinated the design through the centre’s retail design approval process, providing the appointed contractor with a resolved package for construction.

03 Project Outcome

The Rollout Reaches a New Pace

Miranda demonstrates the value of the knowledge accumulated across the Seafolly programme. Design decisions developed through the pilot, refined through subsequent stores and embedded into the merchandising and fixture standards gave the project a resolved starting point, allowing the store to move from first concept to final sign-off in five weeks.

The project captures the programme at a more established stage, with a defined retail concept, proven fixture system and accumulated project knowledge supporting a faster and more efficient path from design through to delivery.
