A Store for Music Enthusiasts
Yamaha required a modernised flagship-style retail environment that reflects its current brand direction and supports new ways customers engage with audio. The brief focused on clearer navigation, stronger product storytelling, and an updated entry moment. Space was also needed for immersive demonstrations — keeping the layout open, flexible, and easy to shop.
Zoning Built Around Experience
The customer journey was reorganised so key categories were read clearly from entry. Product displays were repositioned to improve sightlines and encourage discovery, while the counter footprint was reduced to open up the front-of-house. A gaming and live-streaming zone was integrated to support content-led engagement. Signage and brand cues were refreshed to strengthen the message and guide customers through feature zones.
Clearer Flow Stronger Engagement
The store presents a more contemporary Yamaha environment with improved openness and clearer navigation. Experiential touchpoints support richer demonstrations, including a dedicated streaming zone that encourages longer dwell and interaction. Refreshed entry graphics and signage strengthen first impressions, while the rebalanced layout improves product visibility — making the space easier to explore as a flagship store design.
