KW Commerce required a new workplace in Kowloon to support nearly 200 staff with diverse workflows, including collaboration, product testing and day-to-day operations. The brief called for an activity-based layout with flexible seating, meeting zones and clear circulation, while keeping the environment professional and comfortable. The design also needed to enable growth with minimal disruption, delivered within a fixed 14-week timeline.
Activity-Based Planning, Built to Scale
An activity-based workplace plan was developed, with collaboration hubs, meeting rooms and flexible desk settings distributed to match daily rhythms. Circulation was clarified to reduce pinch points across high-use zones, while product testing and operational support areas were placed for practicality. A warm material direction was specified using timber tones, greenery and soft accents to keep the fit-out professional yet inviting, supporting long-term scalability with minimal rework.

The completed office delivers a modern, human-centred workplace that supports productivity, collaboration and staff wellbeing. Timber flooring, indoor planting and a light palette create a calm atmosphere without losing corporate clarity.
