A Multisensory Hearing Health Centre Experience in Australia

greater group delivered the design and build of Hearing Australia’s Canberra centre, creating a multisensory brand environment through visual, aural and tactile cues across displays, artworks, materials and spatial planning. A calm, intuitive customer journey was created to support privacy, improve wayfinding, and elevate everyday hearing care.

01 - Project Brief

An Immersive Brand Experience

Hearing Australia wanted to redesign and build its Canberra centre, putting brand integration and customer experience at the core. The brief called for a cohesive clinic fit-out solution that supported clinical function, translated campaign messaging through colour, digital screens, artwork and environmental graphics, and created a multisensory journey using visual, aural and tactile cues.

Designing to the Senses

A journey was planned from the bold, campaign-led exterior to a calmer interior zone. Materials and finishes were selected for accessibility, durability, and ease of maintenance, while the brand was kept unmistakable. Digital displays, graphics, and artworks were integrated into the layout, and designed to align with clinical workflows and operational needs.

Campaign Outside, Calm Inside

A bold, campaign-led exterior uses brand colour, digital screens and graphic walls to create instant recognition on arrival, then transitions into a warmer interior with timber, soft textures and balanced seating. The shift keeps the experience energised without overwhelming visitors.
