The objective was to evolve conventional branches and ATM networks into customer-first environments supported by digital tools, adaptable formats and a cohesive design language aligned to the bank’s innovation-led identity.
A New Generation of Banking Spaces
We developed a flexible retail banking design framework adaptable across Digital Lounges, Hybrid Branches and refreshed ATM networks. Prototypes such as Kemang introduced digitally driven customer journeys, while mall and community formats integrated self-service and video banking within varied footprints. Local cues were embedded through culturally informed graphics and materials, ensuring localisation while maintaining brand integrity.

Across Indonesia, CIMB Niaga branches now operate as digitally empowered, lifestyle-oriented destinations. The transformation blends intuitive layouts, self-service technology and hospitality-led design, establishing a cohesive national network that enhances accessibility, engagement and brand perception at every touchpoint.
