Retail and Workshop Connected
Brompton sought to evolve its flagship experience to reflect a renewed brand identity centred on urban freedom. The brief called for a dynamic retail environment with bike display, customer engagement zones and multifunctional use, while keeping cost efficiency and sustainability through refurbishment of existing fixtures. A separate workshop was also required to support servicing, repairs and consultations, designed to work as a community hub for Brompton users.
Refurbish, Flex, and Activate
Existing wall fixtures were retained and refurbished to reduce waste while refreshing the store’s look and performance. The retail environment was shaped with undulating surfaces and modular plinths that can shift between display, seating and storage, enabling events, interviews and rider gatherings. Customer flow was planned across retail and service touchpoints, with the workshop configured for walk-ins and appointments.
A Full-Circle Brand Experience
Together, the retail and workshop spaces create a cohesive ecosystem where exploration, servicing and community intersect. A bike testing lane, flexible layouts and community-focused zones foster engagement beyond purchase. The result is a flagship environment that strengthens brand loyalty while embedding sustainability into the customer journey.
